Fullback is the shittest area by far, in my humble opinion.

Flanagan is progressing well, but I still think I'd rather he was a squad option at the moment.

Cissokho was better second half of the season, but not good enough to sign. Kelly is perma crocked. Enrique hopefully will come back alright after the injury. Johnson has to go. Age/Wages/Shitness. Robinson, mixed reviews out on loan. Is that McLaughlin lad ready? Or Brad Smith? Probably need loan deals for them.

So we'll need one, probably two signings there. One needs to be first choice, and fucking ace.

Agree with you that top priority is our FBs

Pity about Kelly.

Personally I think Mig could be improved upon as well. Not totally convinced by him tbh.

Yeah, pity about Kelly. Maybe loan him out for a season. Might as well, we'll get fuck all trying to sell him.

I have similar reservations about Mignolet but think he's done enough to warrant a second season. He's 26, which is young enough for a keeper to suggest he can still improve markedly. Regarding his distribution, and especially his dominance in the box, or lack there of, he certainly need to improve.

What would help is having a number 2 that could actually put pressure on him. Be it a 35+ year old that had previously been a good number 1, or a promising young player. Jones is shite. I wish he wasn't, because he seems a really nice lad. But he's shite.

Who is the current keeping coach? Does anyone know? Is it still Achterberg? I really do think it is pretty important, even if some on here have suggested otherwise. More in terms of preparation, by scouting opponents, than teaching technical elements.

I would like to see us buy a young box to box midfield player who can go past a man and shoot from distance. Next season we are going to be up against a lot of clubs who park the bus against us. As chelsea did recently.

A left back is a must and Flanno can fight it out with Johno for the right back slot. These two positions in my eyes are the most critical.

He'd be fighting it out with him at another club then.  I hope Johnson is fucked off.  He better be.

Yeh you're right. A decent vet as back up is probably the answer, A Schwarzer would fit the bill. Jones does have to go no doubt. As for Kelly it doesn't look good . Hope there is some way back for the lad

Would have thought Athletico could have gouged them for more than that.

They activated his release clause apparently mate. Powerless to resist the ugly, tainted, aids ridden, russian gangster oil money.

Always knew he was a bit of a cunt.

Yes, Achterberg is still the first team goalkeeping coach, with Mark Morris the keeper coach for the ressies.

This just highlights what a massive fucking cunt of a club those plastic fucking wankers are.

I find it difficult to give United credit, but they at least waited till the season was over before making a formal move for Luke Shaw. Through gritted teeth you at least see they are a real football club.

Those fucking cunts from London decide to announce this in the week where Athletico could win a first title in 20 years and a CL final on the horizon. Shitcoat is such a bitter, classless cunt that he can't wait a week and leave Athletico to prepare for possibly biggest few days of their entire careers. Oh no. It has to be all about Chelsea.

Fucking despise them.
