Starting to concern me this inability to sign a quality FB. Going into next season with Johnson, Flanno, Enrique and a couple of kids won't do.

To be fair there's no way were signing a quality right back, Johnson is 100% staying and playing this season, whether we all agree he should or not, that is the case Brendan has already stated this. Think well get a good left back this summer and then a good right back next summer. Next summer in theory we shouldn't need to buy that many players as we seem to be filling out the squad now. So the top priority positions can be sorted out with a bulk of the transfer budget.

That is the most problematic area in the squad. None of those three are top quality, and we are expected to last a whole season with them AND hopefully win something this time. A concern.

Atletico had a smaller or similar wage budget to Fulham last season, they don't sound great financially so money talks, it doesn't reflect on the players ability Imo.

Manquillo isn't swapping one bench for another. He'll be getting his share of games here if he comes so it'll be either Flanno back on the left or Johnson is fucking off and Flanno is stepping up.

We've been going for younger players and Southampton players so far which has meant an easier level of competition and thus to get most of our targets.

at the mo' we are short of 2 decent full backs a centre half and have only a half decent keeper, we got 75 million for suarez plus 95 mill tv revenue, surely that gets at least one marquee player.
