Sturridge is lethal by the way, he looks like he's going to score a goal every time he steps foot on a pitch, at times I felt he was a more likely source for a goal than his mate Luis , for me he's in the top 10 strikers around, I'd have him ahead of the likes of benzema and higuain. Not only is imperious technically he's fucking lighting and quite clearly backs himself in every facet of the game, when asked about who's better between him and suarez he responded "we're different, some people prefer different players to others" just highlights the belief and confidence he has in himself.

Yes, Sturridge is going to play 60 games, he will score 55 goals and provide 20 assists. ^_^

morons.

Just because Sturridge is world class it does not mean that we wont feel the absence of Suarez or that we don't DESPERATEY need another top striker(not a 18yr old) and that we can just rely on Sturrdge.

Nobody said we didn't yer strap on. Go give your head a wobble.

Having Sturridge here softens the blow of losing Suarez. With Sterling around as well we have 2 genuine top class players who are game changers. We are hardly suddendly left with nothing are we? Blert.

If Sterling can hit the ground running and improve on last season with more goals, it will be a huge help. Last season Sterling didn't even get going until November/December did he? Him knocking them in from the start of next season would be a big help.

after January wasnt it? He was playing right wing back in some of the games though.

The thing is, I reckon Raheem will be awesome at times next year because he really is that good. But that is besides the point, isn't it?

If we go into next season relying on a teenager like Raheem, it would be unfair on him and an embarrassing state of affairs for us.

I don't think we will. We will sign others before the window closes. Raheem will still be a massive part of next season but I think Brendan will manage his gametime and ensure he doesn't burn out.
