Ozark was very good, especially the first couple of series but second best ever is a seriously big shout.

I finished True Detective 3 today, solid enough but a bit of a lift from the first series & I wasn't too keen on the ending. 6.5/10

I hated it, couldn't stand the lead character what a boring monotonous twat. Made Father Stone look like Kenny Everett.

Ha. I'm the one person on planet earth who enjoyed series 2. Though that might have more to do with Rachel McAdams.

I quite liked season 2..the music was boss but it was fucking nuts

I only lasted a few eps of season  3.

Loved season 4..the setting was great and I thought her partner was brilliant

STAX-Soulville USA

Sky arts (freeview)

10/10

Fabulous two part documentary about the story of STAX,started by a white brother and sister in Memphis, with a backdrop of disgusting racism and inequality.

Some great clips featuring Sam and dave, otis redding, booker T and the MGs,isaac Hayes.

Brilliant !!

Severance. Great idea, your work life and home life have  no knowledge of each other, no memory or anything so when you leave the office you don’t recall a single thing. Very Stanley kubrik vibe. Really good and the female character is easy on the eye.

I have just finished episode one of series 2 and I am struggling to remember what went on in the last series that connects to this. Likely due to the time between series.

Rake - the Australian legal comedy drama / political satire somebody recommended a while ago, from 2010-18.

It's not bad but equally, it's no Mr Inbetween either, so 6 or 7/10 in absolute terms, or 7 to 8 if you allow for the lower budget which usually comes with non-US programming, or if you are Aussie and get all the references. Or are particularly partial to Aussie TV.

The main problem is that the writing isn't quite strong enough for its one-hour episodes, it is not exactly fast paced or terribly clever oe varied so the episodes typically outstay their welcome after about 35 to 45 minutes when you become desperate for the final plot twist, which usually isn't particularly exciting so it feels a bit dated. I've seen 3 out of 5 seasons and that is about as long as I am prepared to go.

The last two series were the weakest. You've seen it's best.

You’re a better man than me. I gave up after one series and a few episodes of series two.

A different genre but, as Australian shows go, I much preferred Fisk.

Got the tv on mute, just looked up and a woman is having what looks like a vibrator pushed up her live on ITV to anti-age her vagina, with live commentary by Cat Deeley. Ben Shephard wisely gone for a cuppa.

Is it actually showing her minge?

No, she has her back to the camera and a sheet over her bottom half, while a female nurse was pushing a cylindrical object with a 6 foot power cord up her

King of Darts on Sky Documentaries.  I have watched the first two on Eric Bristow and Jock Wilson.

Ok for a documentary about a bunch of fat drunks playing a kids game

Id imagine all but that Taylor one are a decent watch. I can’t bare that cunt no matter how good he was
