Doesn't bet the Hill House scene though, I very rarely register when watching horror stuff but I will admit that scene got me.

 

On another note, that whole one-shot scene in episode 6 is also brilliant and superbly done.

I didn’t realise there had been 3 seasons of it. I’m halfway through season 2.
 

Not as good as Succession, better than Billions. Some very graphic shagging scenes, bit of a shame none of the lasses are top draw.

I tried about 20 minutes and it was not for me. I needed subtitles for all the bullshit corporate speak and most of the cast had barely outgrown nappies. Not to mention all those posh accents that they've likely made sure most of them have to please potential US markets.

For me, Succession is one of the most overrated shows of all time. That's not to say it's bad, but the praise it gets is wildly over the top. If it's not as good as Billions, which has been on the decline since Season 2 and is generally quite shit now, then I can't be bothered. Especially if the totty isn't top level.

I finished it last night. It went on a couple of episodes too long. Still unsure what the Witch Doctor woman brought to the show, only a shite joke in Eve’s demise.

Ludwig, it had David Mitchell in it. Enjoyable, in a fuck all else on kind of way. Not shite, but not brilliant either.

 

Trying to be Sherlock, meets Death in Paradise, meets Mitchell and Webb, but without Webb. Just Mitchell.

 

For the record - I’d love a go at Anna Maxwell. Hot in a mucky wrong way.

Too draw isn’t realistic but tbh mate you’d be lucky to pull the fella from Rush Hour in it

We usually like the same telly stuff but fuck off about Succession. It’s brilliant. It pisses on Billions. Lacks decent fanny so you make do with Shiv and all of a sudden Gerri is the milfs milfs but beyond that it’s superbly written and acted. It’s a 10/10 for me. Only Narcos and Shameless* (UK) sit alongside it. 
 

*Im not classing Shameless as a sitcom. It’s a serious series about the harsh reality of council life living.

I haven't, I've been eyeing it up. I did grab Teacup though, with the blonde lass from Chuck/Handmaid's Tale/Dexter/several of my wet dreams. That's got a 8.2/10 on IMDb, Sweetpea has a 7.1/10. Not that IMDb knows its arse from its elbow. 

 

Edit: Not even true. It was 8.2 last night, it's now 6.9.

I didn't like succession watched it all apart from most of the last season. Hated every character didn't care who won out in the end even if it did look obvious and felt like I was just wasting my time so jibbed it.

 

I was the same with sons of anarchy except I jibbed that off even sooner the only thing I've ever seen worse than sons of anarchy was the film 300 they go down as my personal choices as the worst things ever created by humankind in the name of entertainment. If Charlie Hunnam is your lead actor you've already given the biggest hint you don't a fuck about what you are making as long as it's made.

So, I watched all of SOA, and early on it was okay, but it was just so repetitive and ran out of ideas. There was just so little character development, it was generic as fuck really. Then the ending, well, that was a pile of bollocks. Almost as bad as the ending to Dexter.

Yeah, it was the same thing all the time. I don’t think the plot was engaging and I just didn’t care about any of them. With some shows I don’t like, I get why others like them. I think The Wire is good, but I don’t love it like others do. I think it’s overrated when called the best show of all time, but I do see why others absolutely love it and there’s a lot about it that’s clearly a high level. Succession, I just don’t see why they rate it so highly. It’s probably a 7/10 for me.
