Top Boy is one of those programs I went back to. I thought it was shite but gave it another because everyone raves about it. I still think its shite.

Sounds similar to a book i read a few years ago called "The first fifteen lives of Harry August" (but probably not as up itself as that book was).

Ahh, that's the book I was thinking of but couldn't remember. I can only vaguely remember the plot too, so it obviously didn't make much of an impression on me....

Apparently there is another book, which the author describes as a companion novel rather than a sequel. It focuses on the life of Teddy, Ursula’s younger brother. I think I’ll give that a go. It’s called A God In Ruins. 
 

Part of me wishes I hadn’t seen Life After Life on the television. I reckon I’d have enjoyed the book but probably won’t read it now.

Ozark..uniformly superb. A bit mixed on the ending though 9/10

Ozark. Finished the final season last night, as mentioned above already this season was generally good with some very good but at the end felt slightly let down, overall though a brilliant show with some brilliant characters.

 

Overall - 9/10.

Season 4 - 8/10

Watching The Flash with my 7yo boy. He loves it, and I think its perfect for his age group. He can see how all the problems are going to be resolved a mile off. Which says a lot.

 

But as an adult, its the most terribly written, cheese filled, shit dialogue cliché sandwich I've ever seen. They hired people of the street as actors, I'm sure of it.

Once again, Netflix delivers. For me, ( a very personal opinion ) the best series I’ve seen in a long time. It’s got everything. It’s never obvious, its beautifully shot, and extremely well acted. It also hurts when you least expect it to. I’m into series 3 and what a rollercoaster. 9/10. German production, English subtitles.

Not often I re watch stuff but this is utterly essential viewing.

Season 3 in particular is outstanding where sully develops as a character. 

Clearly influenced by the wire where it doesn't portray the characters in black and white terms
