Midnight Mass, into it for the first 3 episodes, slow burn odd creepy thing happens that people ignore.

Like lots of horror, once you get more info in episode 4 the shine us taken off it a little.

Still better than lots of stuff on these days so I'll stick with it until the end.

Squid Game. 7/10. It's good but very over-hyped, mostly by people who are new to watching something with subtitles if my Facebook feed is anything to go by. Ending was not great, last episode was boring in fact.

Pretty much where I am with it, you're bang on about the type of person thats hyping it up as well. It has the some of the most absurd acting about 3/4 of the way through that I have ever seen. I'm still not sure what to make if it and if they were taking the piss or not. Despite that it wasn't bad though, first half better than the second for me.

Anyone seen Perpetual Grace Ltd?

Two episodes in and it's decent, very much like Cohen brothers/Fargo type of drama.

Jimmy Simpson plays a drifter who gets roped into a scam by a guy (he's out of Mr Inbetween and Justified) to kidnap his church owning parents (dad played brilliantly by Ben Kingsley), smuggle them into a Mexican jail for a few weeks, declare them dead so their son can get $4m inheritance.

It doesn't go to plan.

8/10 so far.

I'd rate it about 4/10.  The games were lifted from Takeshi's Castle - in fact the whole thing was like Takeshi's Castle, albeit with more dread, blood, sex and monotonous predictability.  And those English /American actors under the masks must have been dragged out of a strip club.  That is the worst acting performance since Matt Hancock pretending to cry.  Generation Game stuff - they had their lines written on the inside of their novelty helmets, surely?

Wasn't that the dream all along?!

I've only watched one episode of Squid game, really enjoyed it, but I can't bare this type of show which is saturated everywhere and somehow even the mumsnet Minion brigade manage to latch on to it too and think they can hold an opinion or conversation about it. Watching it is literally the naughtiest thing they've done since getting the Christmas chocolates out the boot on the 18th November, get fucked, hope you enjoyed the dubbed version not really knowing what was going on, dance moms will be back on soon.

I'm such a miserable bastard.

3 episodes into The Chestnut Man and really enjoying it.

Superior Danish murder mystery noir, plenty of red herrings.

Thanks to whomever it was on here who gave the recommendation.

So far 8/10 Nodi Fen Real Debrid

Herrings are Norwegian.

Nah. I'll stick by my assessment. I find it cringeworthy to be honest.

But... so's the US version. As Elite says, the point is that Brent/ Scott and Keenan/ Schrute are absolutely cringeworthy horrors, as human beings and employees or bosses and both series are examples of cringe comedy.

Herrings are mostly caught in Norwegian waters these days but are found all through the North sea .The east coast of Scotland and England, Fleetwood and the IOM used to be the main fisheries for herring and curing and smoking them as kippers.

Red herrings are a type of kipper, Johnny Foreigner has no  connection to them.
