Anyone tried 'Perpetual Grace, LTD' yet? Trailer looks good and the cast is great. Jimmi Simpson, Ben Kingsley, Jackie Weaver, Kurtwood Smith, Luis Guzman, Damon Herriman, Timothy Spall and Terry O'Quinn. Synopsis below:

By the fella who created 'Patriot' for Amazon and that is a very good show.

Not yet but it looks like it should be excellent.

I had to order a Sky Entertainment ticket so I could watch GOT over here. It runs out in 5 days and I've basically been cramming in as many shows as possible to get my moneys worth. I've gotten through all the decent stuff I knew of.

Has anyone watched 'Borgia' and if so, is it worth it?

I still like Archer. It was undoubtedly better as a spy show though, I’ve read they changed the format so it didn’t get stale but in doing that they’ve lost a lot of what made it great in the first place.

Finished Good Omens and thoroughly enjoyed it. 8.5/10.

Next up for me is an attempt to binge the latest season of Billions. Can’t wait.

Currently trying to do just that. Struggling to get back into it.

It was very good but it's being overrated.

I've heard rumours that Russia are making their own show which implicates US involvement. I'm pretty sure that won't go down well in terms of world peace.

I’ve only watched the first episode but straight back into if for me. I fucking love Wags.

It's a bit going round in circles now (on episode 4) the same structure (2 antagonists, back an forth) and the dialogue is still mostly ridiculously overwritten with all characters as pop-culture experts constantly firing off ready made similes from the hip. It's overwritten as Markus Zusak's latest novel they'd probably say.

Wags? Really?

Just finished the latest Black Mirror episodes, a little disappointing overall, none of them really had a twist or even much to say. Still enjoyable for the most part though.

Striking Vipers- 4.5/10. Interesting premise which went absolutely nowhere, one of the poorest Black Mirror episodes overall.

Smithereens- 8/10. The most tense and interesting of the three, the ending is bleak, nihilistic and pretty much perfect given the subject matter. Would have got an extra mark but for the rather obvious snipers' line of sight loophole.

Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too- 7.5/10. This seems to be getting a right kicking, presumably just because it has Miley Cyrus in it. I thought it was really entertaining with a good dollop of black humour, and Cyrus is actually very good. Another pretty straightforward episode without any real talking points, good fun, but not really Black Mirror I guess.

7/10 for the series. I think it's probably reached its limit now, but it's been a damn good ride.

I haven't watched the other two yet, but I actually really loved this one. I thought it was really interesting.

It could have been, but it didn't really go anywhere with it. The ending was bollocks as well- 'our marriage is a bit boring, but you can cheat if I can too'. Remove the VR aspect of it, and it's pretty much the same as some fanfic about a lonely fella cybering with someone pretending to be a girl.

Haha. Yeah, I guess I see that. The ending was a bit of a cop out. I did like the idea behind the 'friends becoming sexually attracted to each other on top of their relationship that is already there' type of thing. Maybe I just want to VR bang my mates.
