Yea I'm exactly the same. Didn't want to spoil it on here but found the ending naff. The rest was pretty good.

I liked the first three episodes but it went to shit after that, it was a sentimental cheese-fest towards the end.

 

The Office was were he got the ending spot on (the Christmas specials), Extras & this one were all a bit to sickly for me & the music they picked on After Life was fucking honking as well.

 

It did have a cracking joke though, "What do you get if you cross a disabled octopus with my ex wife?", "A five legged slut.".

Gervais playing any other character apart from Brent is shit, his acting is pretty poor.
