I’d seen the trailers for the second series (I will not be drawn on this ‘season’ nonsense) and as the first series was still on iplayer decided to start there. It’s very stylish and she’s great. I didn’t know whether a female lead would be off putting to you lot but it’s clearly got support on here

Watched a documentary on Arizona Cardinals American Football season in 2014. Some interesting characters but also the usual US bullshit and impromptu prayer meetings as well. Really enjoyed it. Not sure of the title sorry.

The first series was one of my favourite things I’ve watched in years, and I was hopeful but a bit worried about a new series, especially when I heard it would be on BBC1, but then I read that the lead actress was also the writer and that it’d developed from her Edinburgh show and that gave me confidence it wouldn’t drop off.

 

as first episodes of anticipated second series go, that was everything I wanted it to be!

7/10. I liked it, however some of the characters could have done with a bit more expansion. Equally funny and sad.

I haven't seen it either and I think I would find it uplifting but at the same time extremely solemn. 8/10.

I was disappointed with what I didn't see of After Life. 4/10.

Altered Carbon.

Couldn’t decide what it wanted to be. Matrix or Blade Runner. Was neither.

All over the place. Not just my head. Could have been great. 

Poor acting. Extra points for naked ladies.

Pretty shit in all 4/10

Watched the first two of these last night but had to turn it off because it was getting late. I enjoyed it and it’ll be going back on tonight.
