Buy a cheap Firestick, utilise the free next day delivery and install Kodi on it. Watch whatever you want for free from then on.

A lot of the apps on Kodi seem to be losing their functionality. What are the goto apps on it these days? I tried to install Yoda the other day and that failed miserably.

I don’t use Kodi too much mate but Yoda with Real Debrid is pretty much all I use and it’s always spot on with 1080p links. Which repo did you install it from?

I think from memory I tried to install from the Supremacy repo at http://supremacy.org.uk/zip/repo. It tries to download but doesn't succeed at all.

I think that’s where I got it from. The repo may have been down for a while. It can happen. Give it another go. If you’re ever looking for new add-ons then you should have this page bookmarked...

There’s a good 4 part on Oscar Pistorius called, predictably, Pistorius on Prime.

Plus if you haven’t seen ‘Make us dream’ the Steven Gerrard documentary then that is on there also and a must watch.

There’s some good Beatles stuff on there as well. The Eight days a week documentary by Ron Howard is there and The Beatles composing the Beatles songbook/outside: Lennon and McCartney 4 part documentary is on there going from 1957-80. Also the Rolling Stones under review 1962-1966 and Under review 1967-69 is worth a watch. Good Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young one as well.

In fact, type in pretty much any half decent band - T-Rex, Led Zep, The Kinks - and there is something there.

Any recommendations on Amazon Prime? I've got it free for a month.

Oh, and Gimme Danger (The Stooges) and Sound City, directed by Dave Grohl are both boss. Just looked up the exact wording for this scene out of Sound City. It’s brilliant.

Grohl and McCartney are in the midst of a particularly great jam, and Grohl turns to Sir Paul saying “Don’t you wish it was always this easy?” Macca looks at him and says, “It is.”

Finished Narcos Mexico yesterday. Started very slow and I gave up for a while but powered through the last 5 episodes and to be fair it got a lot better. Nowhere near as good as the proper Narcos but still worth it if you liked the original. 7/10

Have you seen Manhunt:Unabomber? That’s on Netflix and pretty good. Mindhunter and Ozark are very good too. Designated Survivor is a decent thriller.

Bad Blood is alright. Based on the Montreal Mafia. Obvious one but Fargo if you haven’t seen it. Dogs of Berlin is very good as well if you don’t mind something dubbed or subtitled.

I thought Unabomber was shit. I only watched the first 3 and gave up. I love the original story, just hated how it was all over the place with its timelines.

take it none of my 3 were fucking good enough eh VD? I hope you get VD. Purist, hipster bastard.

I probably need to watch the rest. Just lost interest and I was gutted because i was looking forward too it.

Not sure but I knew literally nothing about the show so had no expectations. I possibly enjoyed it more as a result. There was one episode that I struggled to get through (almost like an origins story episode) but overall I found it really interesting and an amazing story from beginning to end.
