I think I'll watch that soon. Never heard of it but always open to good TV shows. Another show I should get back in is Grey's Anatomy. It was really good but just stopped watching due to other shows.

Some bits were okay but it’s not a top show, I don’t think. Some of the early seasons were good, but then loads of people left and it’s basically the same thing over and over. I’m like two or three seasons behind because I just couldn’t be fucked.

The ending remains the greatest bit of TV I've ever seen. Truly beautiful.

The show itself is underrated as it never gets mentioned alongside The Wire, The Sopranos, Breaking Bad but for me it's at that level.

Wouldn't say that's entirely true, it does get mentioned as being on that level, I for one certainly think so.

I could see it was getting a little bit monotonous in the third season but hoped it was a blip like most shows have. Doesn't sound like that's the case.

Controversial opinion coming up but: Not sure with Better call Saul, loved Breaking bad but Saul was my least favourite "likeable" character (obviously no where near as annoying as Skyler and Marie). I know Mike is in it though and with the same writers it should be good.

There are other significant BB characters in BCS but it’s a different kind of show. It’s boss.

Show Me a Hero didn't quite work but it was a valiant attempt, Treme I liked very much, admittedly no one I recommended it to did.

I have not seen this documentary, was that one of his? Don't see Simon listed among the makers of it.

SasaS, I think the documentary Vlad may be referring to is 'The House I Live In' that was actually made by the excellent Eugene Jarecki with David Simon being one of his interview subjects. He is very eloquent, informed (through his years of being a crime reporter in Baltimore) and opinionated regarding America's 'questionable and financially profitable' war on drugs. If so, it is a superb piece of work and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Although it does tend to make you very angry:

Apologies Vlad if I'm mistaken.

Grey's fucking anatomy? Fuck me, took me 12 seconds to hate it. This was backed up when I heard a ghost character took up an entire season.

That sounds like House you're thinking of.

If you come here quoting Grey's Anatomy as great TV then you shouldn't come around here no more.

Try reading what I wrote again. I don't recall writing great.

I remember those two characters but I don't recall a ghost appearing. Mind you, I didn't get to watch all of it so it's likely I stopped before getting to that part. I finished House and definitely remember that show had a ghost and it was ludicrous.

There's definitely was a ghost storyline in Grey's Anatomy. You do know there's 14 seasons of Grey's Anatomy, right? It's so, so, so not worth watching.

I know it's a whopper of a show, I seem to recall each season had at least 20 episodes. I probably saw the best of it so I likely won't be going back.

Yeah, there's rocking on 400 episodes. I used to 'Netflix and Chill' to Grey's Anatomy with the missus. Except there was no Netflix then. And we didn't chill.

He is in the documentary as himself and is listed on IMDB as part of the cast. Not sure if its his work but I do remember seeing him being interviewed about it although not now absolutely sure of that.
