I need to start something new.

I think my next projects will be Mindhunter, or Boardwalk Empire, or Sons of Anarchy, or The Shield, or The OA.

Just can't stomach political dramas now, I don't find the subject appropriate to joke or dramatise about now, I get angry at them.  So that rules out the West Wing, Veep, and that Kev Spacey one.

My fave series' to date, in no order, have been:

Battlestar Galactica

The Sopranos

Breaking Bad

Mr Robot

Dexter

Narcos

Game of Thrones

Peaky Blinders

Band of Brothers

The Pacific

Other series I've enjoyed for quite a while but ducked out of as I lost interest:

Handmaids Tale

Westworld

The Walking Dead

Sons Of Anarchy will probably join your second list if you start watching that. I think I watched up to season 5 but it had been doing my head in for a full two series so I never went back to it.

If you haven’t seen Ozark, give that a go. I never see it on many peoples lists of great TV shows, but I think it’s right up there.

Absolutely love People Just Do Nothing. It's instantly re-watchable as well. Chabuddy G is the star performer literally everything he says is funny but Beats is my favourite character, he's very subtle but funny. Steve is ace as well.

Grindah is a massive twat but that's the whole point and it works as him being the focal point of the show.

I have a thing for Michelle as well, proper fit chav.

9/10.

Started this recently. Took me a few episodes to get into it, but The Godfather episode finally hooked me. Beats tucking in the massive lad's shirt to get attention.

Yeah it definitely takes a few episodes to get into its stride but worth the initial perseverance as it's very funny.

Sons of Anarchy is 7 seasons of lunacy. It's brilliant, ignore the haters. You've got a biker gang mixed up with chinese gangsters, the IRA, porn-stars (no shortage of tits), mexican drug dealers, the feds, the local police, the aryan brotherhood and black gangsters. What more do you want?

A coherent plot delivered by people who can actually act instead of a shit Byker Grove reject.

Series Four so I’m a bit late to the party but really enjoying A House Through Time.

The house in this series is in the Headingley area of Leeds so it helps that it’s a place I know well.

It takes you through the history and stories of the people who lived in the house from when it was built, through to the present day.

Presented by David Olusoga, it’s really interesting and is much about the changing nature of a City as the people that lived in the house.

It’s on the IPlayer.

The book of the first 3 series is excellent (had it on audiobook) but haven’t seen the series itself. Ups and downs of cities and dodgy planning laws. Plus ca change.

The first one was about a house in Liverpool 8 and was very interesting , particularly as I knew the area , watched a bit of the Bristol one which was ok. Wasn't aware of a third one.
