Ploughed through 4 seasons of Unforgotten. It's a solid show with enough to keep you engaged throughout but the detectives are pretty dull and without an ounce of charisma between them, I suppose that's realistic. 7.8/10.

That’s a fair assessment. I probably liked it more than you but I can see what you mean.

Yep, spot on. It was a bit refreshing not to have the detectives hideous private lives and made up eccentricities front and centre though.

It is a good show, just lacking that wee bit of spark to really keep you on the edge of your seat and I couldn't really care less about any of the characters.

It's a bit of a catch-22, have charismatic detectives with ridiculous personal lives or have realistic characters that don't engage the viewer.

Hope Rust Cohle takes over the mantle in season 5, fuck the cases I just want to hear him musing all episode.

Mare of Easttown

Episode 3 was a total fucking dirge, I'll give this fucker 1 more episode to get it's shit together.

3/10

Watched that last night and as somebody who watches very little long form TV/Drama I really enjoyed the first two episodes, but episode three, where does it go from here?

Seemed to kill the suspense and momentum.

Shadow and Bone - Netflix

T'was okay. Enjoyable, with a lot of scene setting and character building taking up a chunk of the 8 episodes. It's a bit Young Adulty but hopefully Netflix allows a second season and not another part told story which it seems to be doing a bit too regularly at the minute.

7/10

Invincible - Prime

A really great voice cast. Some of the storylines could have been ditched making it a bit more punchy and fast paced. If they can improve as they did towards the end of the season then this could be great going into S2 and S3 which have been greenlit by Amazon.

7/10

Mare of Easttown

We are quite enjoying it and I think there will be a few more twists.

Yeah, just found it odd what they did to her character as it seemed to hobble her significantly and it's only episode three and can't see where it'll go from here, which maybe is a good thing.

Really enjoyed it so far, just curious about how they fill it out.

I've done it again with Snowfall. I'm on episode 5 I think but just can't be arsed. Tell me to keep going because I've got here before. (I did exactly the same with Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy until I finally succumbed and went for it)

I loved it from start to finish.

Weird thing is, I'm actually enjoying it. She's just not that keen but I can make her watch it. I've been ill for about a week so my focus levels are minimal.

Just persevere or watch it on your own. Watching something with a person who's not keen can spoil it.

The writers are not constrained by reality so there will be no doubt some cobblers or other and she'll be back on the horse.

City on A Hill Series 2,excellent stuff again. This series is class.

Kevin Bacon is superb in a series written/produced by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and directed by Ed Bianchi(although those credits may be mixed up!) Good stuff nonetheless.

Is the full season out?

Loved the first season.
