She’s just started it. Is it worth pretending I’m interested or should I just fuck off upstairs?

With Billy Bob? I thought the first season was actually decent. I haven't got around to watching season 2 yet, but Billy Bob is good value.

This is supposed to be a big Netflix issue isn't it? They don't sign anyone up more than a season at a time and it can be too late once they come to renew.

More like the algorithm tells them that no one watches a show past three seasons, even though Friends is the most popular thing on there, so they don't contract shows much past that and are happy to cancel them and show something new.

They're awful.

Yep know about the 3 year thing too, but that is a corporate decision isn't it? They think it's easier to drive new subscriptions with new titles and while subscriptions keep growing the can keep borrowing. But I've read quite a few actors in the past talk about how they only ever contract for 12 months, so it's not even the 3 year thing. I first noticed it years ago reading something about orange is the new black and that tall bird in it wasn't much in season 2 because they all signed for 1 year and she'd fucked off to do something else by the time they signed up season 2.

Laura Prepon? Yeah that happened.

They're like the worst fast food restaurant, just churning out crap and average stuff at a rate of knots so you never get time to notice none of it is any good.

After enduring series 3 of The Dark and The Fall, I’m more than happy Netflix are driving 2 series shows now
