Dracula. The first episode was immense television. About ten minutes into the second episode and its like a cut and shut. Totally different and not in a good way.

Felt the same, although I'm sticking with it in the hope it improves.

The latest season of Power is dreadful. Its been largely enjoyable nonsense but the latest episodes are really bad and look like an afterthought.

I've just got right up to date. I'd started getting really bored with it but come to far to stop. That last episode with Tommy was fucking boss though and I can't wait for the last 2. The end when Regulate started playing gave me goosebumps.

Regulate? Sounds like something you take to cure constipation.

Man in the high castle - I’m annoyed at how it’s ended up. I love the book but get why you would want to veer away from that and the setting would be a really interesting place to put a show.

In the end the seasons weren’t really joined up and plot points failed and they clearly didn’t know where they were going.

some excellent bits exploring what life under an axis America would be like. Even the bits exploring Germany were decent but there wasn’t much point to it.

I liked some of the characters like Robert childan and Kido but they could have done more with other nazis and the resistance the latter of which wee pretty poor. I did enjoy Smith (Sewells portrayal was pretty good) but they Could have down so much more with it. If they had another season they could have fleshed out much better ending.

i know it’s not gonna be possible (For a while at least) but I’d love for another Axis victory show based on Fatherland by Robert Harris that could be fantastic.

Finally got round to watching ' The Story of the Jam ' from Sky Arts.

Very interesting for fans and the contribution of all three ( and a fourth I knew nothing about ) members elevates it.

What a fucking band.

So I stuck with Succession, the first 3 are very hard going as mentioned, I wouldn’t blame anyone for giving up on it after watching them. It did pick up momentum from 4 onwards and just finished the first season.

I enjoyed season 2 much more, I think it's because you get used to the characters a bit more. Tom and Gregg's relationship is brilliant and Roman comes into his own.

Der Pass (Pagan Peak) - not bad, but also nothing special, once you remove the attraction of feeling sophisticated watching a non-English European crime drama somehow provides. Is this from the Bridge franchise? The story is, mercifully, completely different. Nice winter stimmung throughout, some strange narrative decisions.

Someone once told me that niche porn was the main engine behind self-published novels on Amazon and that one of the niches was something called "Krampus porn".

Also, Austrians speak German like proper hillbillies.

It was distinctly average but with a decent ending.

I stuck with it and really enjoyed it. You have to get through those first 3-4 though.

Yeah definitely. I still don't like any of the cunts apart from Gregg but it's still compelling viewing and very funny in places.
