I see Evil has been renewed for a 2nd season already. I've only watched one episode and I wasn't that sure if it would do well, so thought I'd wait a bit in case it got cancelled. Has anyone else been watching it?

Yeah I’m quite enjoying it. It’s not the best programme in the world but then most Network TV isn’t.

It's Swedish with English subtitles and it is very good. It's a spoof Detective series where a Swedish and Brit team up to solve a case. Dark humour and genuinely laugh out loud stuff.

By series 6 it's all gone a bit 'Homeland' with the lead female character. She is spoiling the show now,which is a shame as it's pretty good except for her.

They've also got to be some of the most inept cops you've ever seen who keep getting the most high profile case. 'Les Keystone Flicks.'

I missed seasons 5 and 6 I think. Each season is standalone enough that it doesn’t matter too much though.

Evil is an odd one. It doesn’t seem to be able to decide if it’s supposed to have a comedy relief element or not. That said, episode four was very good and what I thought it might be when it started, and the little girl from episode five (the Halloween episode) was spot on as well, in terms of where it should be at. I was about to kick it into touch until those two episodes.

Just watched that last episode of Mr Inbetween again and wow, what powerful television it  is.

 

Also a word about Ray's little girl, what a cracking little actress she is.

The Kamisky Method,series 2.

Really enjoy this sit com and modern 'rip off' of the odd couple. Alan Arkin is brilliant and Michael Douglas is good too. Chuck Lorre is the producer and there are a few jokes at his own expense. The addition of Paul Reiser is a good one and Jane Seymour still looks great in her late 60s. Solid 8/10 for me.

I started season 1 about 3 times and I can't get through the first episode, I just found it boring. Do I just need to get through it or is it just one of those things, If i don't like it from the start I won't like it?
