Olyphant is great in Santa Clarita. He's getting more and more manic as the show is going on and is very funny with it.

She was watching it when I got pneumonia, which probably doesn't help as whenever I see it, it reminds me of that.

Just seen the first episode. Some real laugh out loud moments in it. Thankfully it's kept the same vibe as the film.

First episode of What We Do In The Shadows was excellent. Right in line with the film. 

 

Get yourself into some Wellington Paranormal while you are waiting for episode 2. Nice little spin off.

Watched the first episode of the new series of The Twilight Zone with Dinesh from Silicon Valley playing a stand up comedian who finds he can erase people from existence by talking about them in his act.

 

Decent enough story but felt it could have been a 30 minute episode rather than the 55 minutes they dragged it out for. Not a bad episode to start with and the next one looks more interesting with a shorter run time so I’ll give that a go later. 

 

7/10.

Finished series 3 of True Detective last night - thought it was pretty good, obviously not a patch on series 1, but still a solid enough show. 8/10

If you like 8/10 shows? Yes.

 

If you like 9/10 and above shows? I'd say no.

Series 1 is the best TV miniseries I've ever seen. Apparently 2 was shite - too many people said so before I'd watched it so I decided not to bother. Series 3 is pretty good, as per above.

Wouldn’t bother watching season three of True Detective. Ending is absolutely dire. Watch season one though if you haven’t already seen it. 

 

Currently struggling through Hanna on Amazon Prime. On episode five and by god it is sloooooow. More action is needed and less teenage moping around.

Yeah I've heard season 1 is excellent. Harrison and McConaghy isn't it? I like both of them so can see why it would be good.

Without a doubt, watch series 1... It's immense. I think 3 is good too though.
