Just watched both seasons of The Handmaid's Tale. Superb stuff. Baffling end to the final episode in S2 though. Why?

So they can drag it on into another season..

Agree though it is superb stuff and would have been a good way to end it. I just wish they'd kind of wrap things up in a couple of seasons rather than dragging them on and on like The Walking Dead

Hahah. You do make me laugh, Hades.

TV show with too many women in it? Yep, misandry at play.

It's a TV show about women fucking everything up and blaming it on men. I have to be worried because I have a nephew growing up in an ultra-feminist education system, society and workplace.

It's a dystopian tale detailing the future subjugation of women. No supernatural involved. At least I think, having not seen it. Was my intention to give it a go but get the impression it's a little similar to the Walking Dead - that is if something bad could happen it will.

It couldn't BE more different.

If you ever take over the world, can I sit in a cage above your throne and watch it all unfold?

Biological life is a DNA molecule replicating itself through endless amounts of suffering and very little pleasure. Were I given a choice I would benevolently press the red button to incinerate the universe. Not much of a view.

I think the problem with shows with lots of women in them, particularly lead roles, is that the writers/directors/producers make them look ridiculous. Very few well written parts for them, although I have no idea if this is one of them or not.

Bit gutted Castle Rock is an anthology, plenty of scope for a few seasons with the current cast and story.

I think bar the Sissy Spacek episode it's all been a bit average and 'meh'. But now they've established some rules about

a multiverse

I'm hoping they can come back with a stronger story next time.
