motored on through with Orange is the new black season 3. Utter shite. 3/10 at best and the 3 was only down to the lezza bits, which weren't even great. netflix either need a new team of writers or fuck it off.

There was a very good documentary on BBC4 last night about the fall of Saigon. Most of it centred on the evacuation of US citizens and some South Vietnamese from the US embassy in Saigon but it was interesting to hear about how things happened to lead up to all this from some of those who were involved in the situation, including Henry Kissinger. That we are still seeing bloodshed and humanitarian disasters of this type in other parts of the world 40 years on just shows how as a species, we don't really learn from our mistakes.

Currently watching Maron  now on S2, decent but nothing special, recommended if you are looking for something along the lines of Louie or Curb.  Also, if you are a fun of the WDF podcast, like me.  In which case you are probably already watching it.

SOA is great for the first few season (s01 starts slowish) but by the end it just gets gratuitously violent.  Worth a watch though.

I watched the first episode of season 2 of true detective and thought it was shit. From what I've been told its been very slow so far.

Witnesses. 7/10. Slow burn and different in tone and pace to the seedy underbelly of Paris that Spiral revels in. Not sure what I should have expected really, but it appears small seaside towns in France look remarkably like small seaside towns in England.

I will give this a go myself. I liked Spiral so some French stuff is decent.

Done the first 8 episodes of Rick and Morty on the recommendation of Cloggypop. Good stuff, not as good as Archer, but still pretty ace.

6.5/10. Entertaining enough, but not really that horrific. Nice line in sadism and a sly underlying sense of fun though.

Finished Parks and Rec off last night. Definitely the weakest season since the first but there was still a fair share of laughs. The last episode was pretty disappointing though - 7.5 for the season, 9/10 for the series.
