If , just if we did go on to win the league this season, it would, in my opinion be the greatest ever achievement of any English club. Coming back from 3-0 down at half time in Istanbul was more than a bit special, but anything can happen in a single game. To win the league ahead of the likes of City, Chelsea, Utd, Spurs, who have spent massively on their huge squads, when he have had Suarez out for the first half dozen games, had long term injuries to Enrique, Lucas, Johnson,Agger, Sakho,Sturridge, and bearing in mind some of the players are just not up to the job (Allen,Toure,....Johnson), it would be a mind blowing achievement.

It'd eclipse the unspeakably amazing spectacle that was Istanbul. I never envisaged that such an event would be possible, let alone could be done this season. Winning the league after coming 7th, 8th, 6th and 7th in the four years before would be mindblowingly special. In just the manager's second season? Would be too much.

I would prefer it more if we were to win it on the last day of the season by goal difference in the final minute of the game whilst that whiskeynose cunt was still in charge of the manc shite.

 

nevertheless it would be a remarkable season.

Jeeez, can you imagine ! Personally i would like it done with games to spare, my ticker wouldn't take something like that.

Can you just imagine how it'd feel to win the league again. It has been so long I've almost forgotten, and even then it was quite often pretty much expected that we'd win the league. It wasn't a rare event. If we won a match to win the league now, I'd burst. Just boom.

Well, a 'club' wins the league every season, why would ours be any more special? You have to be more specific with your praise IMO. The manager? Suarez? The entire forward line?

 

I say the manager personally. With a little bit of Suarez and Sturridge on the side.

I would love it if Everton took points off all our rivals so they helped us win the league. Their heads would be wrecked and they d have to set up suicide prevention centres all over county road and Rhyl.

 

To be honest I couldn't care less as long as we did win it, it's been far too long.

Winning it the first session Ferguson fucked off would be quite funny.

The way that football has a funny habit of coming up with little twists like this, makes me believe it could well happen. We could all then do a collective "Bobby Ewing". Get out of the shower and realize that the Fergie era was just a bad dream... Normal service resumed.
