So what I'm concerned about is that Ted might be the 'H' in question after all, especially with that final shot of the episode.

But why does he keep taking down the corrupt members of the conspiracy then?

Interesting that they left the murder squad DCI's photo on the wall at the end.

That Jimmy Lakewell made a comment to arnott as well about bodies being brought out of cold storage full of your DNA if you don't do what they say. I wonder if his position as head of murder squad has anything to do with this. He's also appeared in pretty much every series so they keep wheeling him out to remind us he's about

Enjoyed the series & thought the last episode was a bit more realistic than the last one of the previous series which all went a bit Lethal Weapon.

( I would have been happy to see that little teacher's pet, Jodie, hurt badly, but other than that I think the tone was just about right )

I have watched them all except series 1 and have noticed that it is available on my series link now. Is it worth watching & does it have any influence over what is going on now or was it strictly stand alone ?

Just remembered he's another "H": Hargreaves.

Series 1 was excellent and there were quite a few references to events in it in the series that's just finished. Well worth a look.
