The best thing about all of it so far is how that Tommy used to say ‘dirty business’ in terms of ‘...they’ll find your dirty business all over her’.

Used that one a few times.

Saw on Sunday that when the episode finishes, they are showing rerun of Between the Lines over on BBC4.

I was a young teen when it was first shown,  but remember it bring really good.

How did steve know what sky package Nellie Boswell had when he walked in her living room? I don’t even know what I’ve got and I’ve had it for years.

She makes a joke about "his lot" not doing well but CL was on her television that night, if he wanted to watch. I think it was showing, no money but can afford sports channels...

I never realised the character of Arnott was based on Louise Mensch.

The Eddie Santini storyline on the Bill was way better that anything Line of Duty have done.

do you reckon Eddie was knocking Polly Page off?

Was always more of a DC Rod Skase fan myself.

Skase is on the Case

I also got the big tele and package inference and it irritated me.

I always have a look at the Reddit discussions after watching TV shows. Didn't realise that young copper that Kate thought she recognised was the kid that tortured Steve, so no doubt he's OCG. I love the show but that's beyond ridiculous, good job Fred West topped himself or he'd have got a job as a victim liaison officer.

He was also the one who slit Corbett’s throat apparently.

Didn’t Hastings give her that 50k at the end of the last series?

Nigel Boyle (DI Buckells) is as wooden as they come; even Doctors has better acting.

Whatever anyone thinks about the Police you have to have something about you to get to DI. His whole character is nonsense

If AC12 try and come here and interfere, they’ve got me to contend with, okay? You can go and fiddle with Neil’s people, but I’m the head of this family. You’re not going to fiddle with my children. I am, if anyone does.

I said the same thing to my missus. His character is not believable.

Good points. Fairly made

I once met Burnside. Well the actor, he spoke at our planning committee. Dead posh, not one use of the word slag. Such a let down

You’ve got BBC iplayer, Cath. There’s really no reason you shouldn’t be watching Snowfall. That’s THE thing now.

Edit: honourable mention to Mr Inbetween but that’s a bit harder to come across.

I find this thread invaluable. I’ve only a nodding acquaintance with what’s going on. Once I’ve watched the latest episode I come on here and make a serious of ‘ahh’ and ‘ooh’ noises as various incidents are carefully explained.

Good work.
