Just watched this weeks. Hastings was absolutely back to his best. "She's cooked her goose" and "Going like the clappers" being my personal highlights. 

 

Kate is a cunt. Ma'am. Them fucking eyes do my head in. Loved her in This is England. She's just a bastard in this. Unless we see her and Davidson scissor then she's in the bin as far as I'm concerned. Loved her green coat though when she met Steve in that tunnel.

I always have a look at the Reddit discussions after watching TV shows. Didn't realise that young copper that Kate thought she recognised was the kid that tortured Steve, so no doubt he's OCG. I love the show but that's beyond ridiculous, good job Fred West topped himself or he'd have got a job as a victim liaison officer.

It was expressly shown  that he joined the police though and was being embedded by organised crime  as a long term asset. He wasn't convicted in series 1
