Help I'm dying bleeding out on the floor and can't talk. I know I'll send a message via morse code with Myleene fingers. Fuck off, I had to learn morse code, and all I now know is exactly what everyone else knows. S and O

They're having us for mugs and wasting 5 hours to throw that in was just daft. The problem with not watching it is the storyline is everywhere the next day, so it's not as if you can avoid it and choose to watch it at another date.

As a decent show it's gone. I'll get over it.

I’ve been chatting to the 53-year-old Mercurio about his penchant for getting involved in social media scraps himself. Just this week he launched a tirade at a S*n writer who claimed that one of the show’s stars had been offered a contract for two more series. “This story is a lie,” he wrote, before calling the journalist a “c---”.

The ending was a real anticlimax. It smacked of a show that was going to go out on a high and then when everyone kept raving over it they decided to commission a couple more series and had to bring everything back from the brink with an 'all's well that ends well' and 'as you were' kind of feel.

One of the things the very best shows like the Wire and Shield did in the states was mix things up. The Shield would bring in a change of captain (Glenn Close) or lose team members (Lem), while the Wire took its star out of the show (McNulty) for an entire year.

Next year it'll be Hastings, Kate and Arnott going after the last BENT-COPPER.

Sort of seen it all before now, plus there's no longer the menace of this being this big shady organisation, just some random copper they need to route out to close the story down. Shame.

So, how did Hasting's know Lisa's name?

Presumably he reads the reports.

Although I wasn't buying the disposal of the laptop for porn reasons (I'd have to throw several away a day) nor the spotting of the incorrect spelling of 'definitely' so I'm calling it now, Hastings is the last one because the writers are shit and they'll make us wait another 5 hours before revealing it.

Just caught up with this now. Another enjoyable season I thought, some parts are clearly over the top but so were the other seasons tbh.

This season felt a bit different though because it focused on, and showed, the OCG a lot more than the preceding three seasons which were more police based. It felt more like the first season to me.

If there are four people acting as ‘H’ though and that solicitor at the end is one of them, then why didn’t she give the name of the remaining one in when she made her immunity deal? They’d already tried to kill her so it’s not like she’d have any loyalty at that point.

The worst aspect is that the longer it goes on the more unbelievable the amount of bent coppers there are becomes.

There must have been about ten of them in this season alone. I can believe there are that amount of them on the take across the whole force, but not just on the take with this one criminal gang.

The other thing is the seeming ease that they get serving officers to not just be a little bit crooked like providing intel but to actively try and murder people. What the fuck did that officer think she was going to do once she’d killed that woman at the end in the toilet? Or the lad last season who pulled a gun trying to get the lawyer who called Steve ‘Ironside’ out the building.

I agree. They become martyr's for the OCG, as though it's some righteous cause which doesn't make much sense.

Just finished season 3. People go on about the gritty realism of the early series but at least twice Dot was shown frying an egg whilst already in his suit trousers, shirt and tie. Appalling writing.

Yeah but Dot is a proper cunt so he fits the profile of a guy who would fry an egg in his suit. In-fact if you asked a random stranger to draw a man frying an egg in a suit I guarantee they would draw a lanky cunt with big ears and an annoying brummie accent.

Finished series 5 the other day. Thought it was disappointing compared to the first 4. It got off to a good start with the heists but then all got a bit far fetched and convoluted AND STEPHEN GRAHAM'S WIFE'S ACCENT RUINED THE WHOLE SHOW. Seriously, what was that? Easily the worst Liverpool accent i've ever heard.

Also, no Dot, no party - having him in the team was the best part of the show.

Have you not seen little boy blue? The Dad's accent in that was the worst attempt at any accent in history not just scouse
