We seem to struggle to hold onto leads at junior level.

Got round to watching the highlights of this yesterday - was very open in the last knockings. We could have, and probably should have, grabbed a winner through Max Woltman in stoppage time.

The 18s are in action this afternoon as they host Leeds at The Academy.

Kick-off at 12:00, with live coverage on the offal from 11:30.

Leeds were comfortable 4-0 winners in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, so the lads will be looking to put in a much better performance today.

1-0 Cannonier

Musialowski picks up a clearance in midfield, brings it forward and slides a pass to our number nine, who finds the far corner from fifteen yards out.

A mate’s son is playing for Leeds U16’s at Liverpool today. Stepping up from their U15’s I think.

Obviously I hope Liverpool batter them but all being well the lad has a good experience.

Musialowski runs through their defence again, but their keeper scrambles the shot away again. From the resulting corner, a long period of possession ends when Clark puts the ball in the net, but the flag is up.

Half time, 5-1.  Not much to say about that.

Could easily have scored a few more in that first half and Leeds could have no complaints.

Mabaya has been superb down the right.
