Bobby Clark sent  off in stoppage time, but it ends 3-1. I imagine it will look heroic in the highlights come Monday afternoon.

Sent off against his old club. Wonder if he was reacting to some verbals?

Wouldn’t know; equally, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least

Final UEFA Youth League group game this afternoon. Kick-off at 13:30, with live coverage on the offal from 13:25.

Avoid defeat this afternoon and we go through. A win sees us top the group.

If we win the group we progress straight to the last 16. (The 8 group winners qualify for the last 16)

If we finish second in the group, we go into a playoff round against teams from the Winners path. (The 8 group runners-up join 8 teams from the Winners path in a 1 leg playoff round).

We know there are a few youngsters that have travelled with the first team and Owen Beck is suspended, so there's going to be a fair bit of rotation for this fixture.

Team news once it's available.

Milan 0 Liverpool 1

A cross from the left by Chambers is met on the half volley by Musialowski at the far post giving the home keeper no chance.

Well done the defence, especially CBs. Disappointed at lack of link up further forward. Bit harsh maybe?

Not harsh; I don’t think it was anywhere near an ideal front six and they didn’t fit together well.

Meanwhile, Porto equalise from the pelanty spot, but Atletico retake the lead with 25 minutes left. Happy days.

Funny how we seem to do well against top European sides but flop against shit English ones. I assume it's the age difference thing again.

The 18s get their FA Youth Cup campaign underway later today as they host Fleetwood at The Academy. Kick-off at 17:30.

No live coverage of the game, unfortunately.

Team news and updates when available. (As the game is being played behind closed doors, updates may be trickier to come by).
