Once again exposed from a set-piece as we just don't seem to be able to defend crosses at all. Another simple header with marking nowhere to be seen.

The home side deservedly in front at the break. We're struggling to defend crosses into the box, just look clueless when defending set-pieces. Granted the back 4/5 are playing alongside each other for the first time, but they just don't look like they understand what their roles are when defending set plays.

Wellity goes down hurt after a 50-50 challenge. Looks like he will be replaced. While we're down to 10 men, Blackburn miss a sitter. We bring on midfielder Michael Laffey and switch back to 4-3-3.

The game was lost in the first half. We defended better in the second half, but it's certainly an area that needs improving.

 

Luca Stephenson was a massive miss for the lads today with the midfield left a little wanting at times during the game.
