Full time 1-3

Our mistakes were punished more efficiently than theirs.

Still, Blackburn next week.

This - Though I thought we ran out of ideas when we got into their final third.

Balagizi very quiet today, and Stewart drifted in and out of the game so had little to no affect.

Agreed. If their plan was to have Stewart spend most of his time nearer the touch line than the goal, then it worked. I accept that Balagizi will develop as an all-round midfielder by playing deeper, and that we are limited for choice in the middle with injuries, but in the short-term it weakens the team as a whole, and Woltman didn’t look to be suited by his role today either.

Hopefully no-one else got hurt today. I thought Mabaya looked good, even before  his goal.

Agreed on Mabaya, looks a powerful lad. Going to be very raw and will make mistakes, but that's to be expected.

Missed Hill and Morton today.
