Good to see Jakub back. Made a very encouraging start to his career with us, looks a good prospect.

Hopefully Jaros will be back before much longer. Another fine goalkeeping prospect.

Wonder how far off Koumetio is from returning too. He's another that was very impressive in the early stages of the season.

Half time - Stoke 1 Liverpool 1

A half peppered with sloppy moments, poor passes and few chances. The lads at the back have been guilty of some really poor passes when trying to play out from the back, Remi Savage in particular has made a number of sloppy passes.

After going a goal behind so early, we've seen most of the ball without creating an awful lot. Leyton Stewart had a half chance midway through the half when the home keeper came flying out to the edge of his box, allowing Leyton to go round him, but the tight angle and the defenders getting back prevented the young striker from finding the net, or Jack Bearne in the 6 yard box.

We did however deservedly get back on level terms just before the end of the half. A really nice little ball from Tyler Morton finished well by the number 9, Stewart.

Full time - Stoke 1 Liverpool 2

A good win for the 18s. Went behind early, grabbed the equaliser just before the break, and won the game late on.

Stoke probably seen more of the ball in the second half as we looked to hit them on the break a little more. The lads at the back upped their game in the second half, with their passing much more assured than in the first 45. We never really looked threatened by the home side, and coped well with the majority of set pieces.

At the other end of the pitch, Layton Stewart put in a really good shift, making some good runs down the channels to pull the centre backs out of position for midfield runners to move in to. Lewtas made a tactical switch during the second half, swapping Balagizi and Morton around in the middle of the park which worked well.

We're playing with XI from the start... Joe Hardy starts too.
