The visitors try to play out from the back from a goal kick, but the return pass from the centre half to the keeper is weak allowing the returning Eddie Tagseth to intercept, round the keeper and tap home. Good pressing from Tagseth.

O'Rourke wins the ball 30 yard out and finds his strike partner, who works the ball onto his right foot and beats the keeper from 12 yards.

Duncan has his hattrick. O'Rourke feeds Duncan to the right of the box. Bobby feints to go in on his favoured left foot before dropping his shoulder and moving back to his right foot to lash home.

The margin of victory does flatter us, but credit is due for the way we dealt with the opposition, and good to see both Williams and Tagseth back from their injuries.

We lose the ball cheaply in our own half. The right winger beats Lewis far too easily and plays a teasing ball across the 6 yard box where the number 11 is unmarked and waiting to tap home.

Fairly even half. We've not tested their keeper in the opening 45, though we've got into a few good positions to do so, just the final decision letting us down.

 

Everton are a threat on the break and have targeted Lewis at left back as the area to get at. The lad Bowler is having a fair amount of success on their right.

 

Lewis himself though is our best outlet down our left when going forward. The lad has terrific delivery from wide areas and a couple of his crosses really should have been attacked better.
