UEFA.com has our line-up as :-

Mrozek; Bradley, Beck, Koumetio, Quansah, Bajcetic, Corness, Norris, Frauendorf, Woltman, Gordon.

Subs : Davies, Chambers, Miles, Mabaya, Clark, Cannonier, Musialowski.

I thought Bradley might have been in the squad for tonight.

Liverpool 1 Porto 0

A good spell of pressure sees us work the ball down the Porto left to Kaide Gordon who drives into the box before feeding the overlap from James Norris. Chuck rolls the ball across to the waiting Corness who knocks past the keeper from around 10 yards.

Full time 4-0

The margin flatters us a bit, but we deserved the win. Our cobbled-together midfield performed better than anyone could have expected; Bajcetic looks like a real prospect when given enough time in possession, Norris ran and ran and ran and for once didn’t kick someone out of spite, and Corness had his best game in 18 months.

What’s the table by the way ? The kids have a chance to go through ?

Do two teams qualify or just the one? I seem to remember last year it was only top spot that went through, but I might have that wrong.

Pinched from Wiki:

The UEFA Youth League is an annual club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) since 2013. In its current format, it is contested by the youth teams of the clubs competing in the UEFA Champions League group stage, plus the domestic youth champions of the best-ranked national associations.

2021–22 UEFA Youth League

A total of 64 teams from at least 32 of the 55 UEFA member associations may enter the tournament. They are split into two sections, each with 32 teams.

UEFA Champions League Path: The youth teams of the 32 clubs which qualified for the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League group stage entered the UEFA Champions League Path. If there was a vacancy (youth teams not entering), it was filled by a team defined by UEFA.

Domestic Champions Path: The youth domestic champions of the top 32 associations according to their 2021 UEFA country coefficients entered the Domestic Champions Path.[1] Should there was a vacancy (associations with no youth domestic competition, as well as youth domestic champions already included in the UEFA Champions League path), it was first filled by the title holders should they have not yet qualified, and then by the youth domestic champions of the next association in the UEFA ranking.

Round & Draw Dates

The top 2 in each group qualify for the next stages, but it's not quite so straightforward.

The winners of each group in the Champions League path qualify directly to the last 16 of the overall competition, while the runners-up in each group go into a playoff round where they are drawn against 8 teams that have qualified from the Domestic Champions path.

The Domestic Champions path started with 32 teams playing two rounds of two-legged home-and-away ties to get down to the 8 teams qualifying for the playoff round.

The winners of the playoff round then qualify for the last 16 which then becomes a straight knock-out competition.

We have already qualified for the playoff round as we have the better head-to-head record against Porto.
