Full time 1-0

We won’t get away with playing like that again. We were too wasteful in the first half, and we weren’t very good in the second half, apart from Davies. The substitutions should have been sooner, too.

Beck had a good game until everyone else around him stopped running, and Chambers should take credit from playing in the centre of defence for the first time in his life, and having to do it on his weak foot .

Agreed.

Musialowski very quiet today and when he did have the ball he was very sloppy with it. He should have been replaced far sooner than he was.

I thought Tyler Morton had a good game throughout, and along with Harvey Davies, was certainly one of our better players in the second period.

Max Woltman worked his socks off up top and scored a nice goal in the first half, but had next to no service in the second half.

Gordon drifted in and out of the game, but you could see that Milan had done their homework and were doubling up on him where possible. The lad also took his fair share of kicks during the 90 too.

Currently our under-18s are playing Crystal Palace at the Academy in the Under-18 Premier League Cup, a competition we wanted to withdraw from, allegedly.

Teamsheet:

Mrozek; Mabaya, Chambers, Miles, Bajcetic, Stephenson, Balagizi, Frauendorf, Clark, Blair, Cannonier.

Subs : Davies, Davidson, Omoruyi, Pilling, Roberts.

We are 1-0 up after half an hour (Cannonier).

EDIT : Now two up, Cannonier again.

From the last 2-3 matches, I've seen Cannonier as the name on the scoresheet more often than not. One to watch out for? Any read-up available on him?

Been really clinical so far this season. Good movement in and around the box. From the limited time I've seen of him, he appears to be more of a poacher type when compared to other strikers in the youth ranks.

He did come off the bench against Milan in the Youth Cup and played wide right, but that's more likely due to the fact that Max Woltman was still on the pitch at the time and Cannonier had the fresher legs for the closing moments of the game.

Need to watch him a few more times to make a better assessment of the lad.

The 23s host Leeds tomorrow afternoon, kick-off at 14:00 - the game is not being broadcast by the offal, unfortunately.

The team selection for this might gives us a little insight as to which youngsters may be involved in the League Cup fixture at Carrow Road on Tuesday evening. I cannot see that anyone starting against Leeds tomorrow would be involved on Tuesday evening, at least not from the start anyway.

Team vs Leeds:

Pitaluga; Gallacher, Clayton, Koumetio, Beck; Morton, Corness, Norris; Bearne, Woltman, Musialowski.

Subs: Hughes, Wilson, Boyes, Dixon-Bonner.

Looks to me that Conor Bradley and Kaide Gordon are going to be in the squad to face Norwich on Tuesday.
