Leicester 0 Liverpool 2

As AIG says, we have now doubled our lead with 89 minutes on the clock.

A little note that Kaide Gordon came on for Ben Woodburn in the 71st minute to make his debut for the 23s.

EDIT: A debut goal for Kaide Gordon! (Get him on the bus for the first team on Thursday...!)

How's Dixon-Bonner progressing? At points I've watched him and seen rampaging CM potential, but he seems to have been around for ages.

He isn't progressing. The experiment of having him fill in on the right of the front three didn't work either. Hopefully he's loaned somewhere next year, as far from Inglethorpe as possible.

As AIG has intimated, Elijah has stalled somewhat and would really benefit from a loan move next season. I'd suggest a club in League One will be his ceiling at the moment.

I think he's been a bit of a victim of his versatility due to his athleticism. He's made appearances in a number of positions and roles this season which has seemingly hindered his progress. It may well serve him well later in his career, but right now it looks to be to his detriment.

They obviously hold him in fairly high regard as he has captained the 23s this season.

Not a good first half. We haven't really started playing as we're capable of.

Musialowski having one of his in & out games. Too many touches at times, poor passing, but looks to be the player who might create something with his directness.

Awful goalkeeping by Harvey at the end there.
