Halftime at The Academy - Liverpool u23s 0 Southampton u23s 0

Been an even contest between the 2 sides.

Millar seen an effort strike the post, and the visiting keeper has made a couple of good saves to keep the game goalless.

There was a worry around the half hour mark when Glatzel looked to turn his right ankle following a strong challenge. Thankfully, he has been able to run off the injury following treatment.

Thanks for the updates. Does Millar look like a real prospect?

He is 21 and has 2 top flight (In Scotland) goals to his name.

Michael Ngoo outscored him in Scotland.

I expect that Liam will move on in the near future - Probably out on loan in January with a permanent move in the Summer.

However, that said, Liam is the type of forward that Klopp likes. Pacey and direct while working his socks off for the team. For those that haven't seen much of Millar, the comp that comes to mind for me is with Timo Werner, though minus the goals...

O'Rourke preferred to Hardy off the bench, interestingly.

Suspect that will have been influenced by Joe just coming back to fitness recently. Fidel works hard, but he's not the same threat that Hardy is at this level.
