Half time 3-0

Probably should be more one-sided than that, Glatzel hit the bar, had another 20-yarder tipped away and could have had a penalty when he was bundled over, Camacho mis-kicked when unmarked by the penalty spot and there was another chance when their keeper dropped a harmless-looking corner before it was scrambled away.

There is nothing like a committed, organised press to really expose a team's weaknesses, especially a youth team.

I'm not 100% convinced that the gap in quality of individuals is that large here, but the gap in quality between the teams is absolutely immense. Almost feel bad for the PSG defenders; they are completely panicked every time they get the ball.

I take back what I said about them being close to us individually, by the way.

The longer the game went on the clearer it became that not only were we better as a team, there were some of our players who were winning their individual battles by such a margin that it was really men against boys. Curtis Jones' goal was a great example, but Larouci (sp?) and Camacho were also miles ahead of the players they were coming up against.

Intrigued by our goalie. Jaro/Yaro? Never seen him play before, obviously he wasn't busy but I liked the way he carried himself in his box and how he seemed to have glue on his gloves for a few crosses and shots.

Half time - Arsenal 2 Liverpool 0

We were the better side up to conceding the opening goal. We then have a complete brain fart just minutes later to gift Arsenal a second.

As you'd expect, the goals have given Arsenal a confidence boost, and they could quite easily have had a couple more but for some good defending and a good save from Grabara.

We've still tried to get forward after going 2 down, but the final ball has been lacking.

Full time - Arsenal 4 Liverpool 0

We started each half brightly, but the final ball & finishing was lacking for the majority.

Didn't really deserve to be beaten 4-0, but we certainly didn't deserve anything from the game as we were so poor defensively this evening. The full backs were constantly exposed to Arsenal's pacey wide players. Camacho is not a right back, and Adam Lewis is not a good enough defender at this level in my opinion.
