I loved the first 2 or 3 series of Peaky Blinders but the last couple of series have gotten progressively gloomier and more miserable.

There's hardly a character in it now who's even remotely likeable. I've detested that overacting old drag queen Polloy from the word go.

Sam Neill was a revelation as the brusque and brutal Northern Irish copper. Truly a brilliant performance I thought and one of the most incredible volte faces since Henry Fonda in Once Upon A Time In The West.

Writers should have had him prevail over Polloy at the end of series 2.

Loved Paddy Considine's cunt priest too. On the other hand, shoot Adrien Brody, please.

It’s beautifully made, acted and written. I know it’s deliberate but the slow motion, music video like, scenes are a little style over substance.

Arthur is one of the great characters in any British drama of the last couple of decades.

Generally it’s top notch but I felt it lost its way a little during the season with Adrien Brody. Just a personal opinion and it’s returned to form since.

I never watched the last series, bored of it now.

I got bored after the first series.

I'd consider watching more, but I can't get past the fact that it's inspired a subset of society to dress like twats.
