This definitely smells of " oh we had a very hard away game 3 days ago " let's get this postponed till we're all a bit less fucked if the FA let this happen then they are setting a very dangerous precedent the club should be making hourly calls to the wankers in Soho square saying this match must go ahead

i gather this is related?

One union has suspended its 48-hour Tube strike action after reaching a deal with London Underground (LU) over ticket office closures.

Sources have told the Press Association that TSSA members will now no longer take the industrial action, which was due to start at 21:00 on Tuesday.

The RMT Union has not said whether it has also reached a deal.

Talks have been taking place between LU and the unions at conciliation service Acas.

Fulham will be gutted (watch them go and beat us now!).

I take it there roster of stewards all have 9-5 jobs and cant get to the cottage in time for 2 hours approx before kick off?

Would a suggestion not be to find an other steward company or get current steward staff to leave work an hour early.

This is 2014, its the fucking Premier League and we are Liverpool Football Club not fucking Luton Town in the 1980's.

Reds duo back in full training 11 Feb 2014 10:37

Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson on the road to recovery

Liverpool duo Daniel Agger and Glen Johnson have both returned to full training ahead of tomorrow night’s scheduled trip to Fulham.  The Reds vice-captain has been sidelined since suffering a calf injury in last month’s FA Cup win over Oldham, while Johnson has recovered from niggling ankle and groin problems since boss Brendan Rodgers decided to take him out of the firing line three weeks ago.

“Glen and Daniel have come back into training, which is brilliant for us,” Rodgers told the ECHO.  “We will see how they go between now and Wednesday. They certainly look very strong in training.  “Whether the midweek game is going to be too soon for them, we will see. But it’s great to have them back and see their qualities.”

I don't know. Weather forecast says there's a good chance it will be cold AND dark by full time. It would be gross negligence to send people home in those conditions.

Indeed,

The only sensible thing to do is pen people inside Craven Cottage until Thursday morning, and let them out only when the clouds have dispersed.
