Its amazing how Chelsea and Spurs never sneak in at the last minute to get sponsorship deals ahead of us, incredibly we seem to be really efficient getting these deals done.

Our advertising hoardings are going to be the pride of the Premier League.

To be fair, Liverpool are pretty good at making money, and whether it's liked or not, it's necessary part of running a club these days.

Competitors are doing the same too, selling off sponsorship of all and sundry to the highest bidder to increase revenue, and a lot of it's coming from new areas and brands we've never heard of.

It's all well and good fancying being sponsored by blue chip firms, but business is business isn't it?

The fact is, Liverpool has a massive fan base, and a lot of that is from foreign shores, and the likes of City trying to increase their fanbase are also fighting for the same people.... on foreign shores. That's always going to end up with sponsorship deals from firms we've never heard of and shirt sales to fans we'll never see in the ground.

Oh for the days when we glanced with envy at utds ability to market themselves, and ensure a sound financial footing that laid the foundations for continued success while we lamented moores inability to capitalise on the launch of the premier league and our world wide popularity.

Yes they put a top team on the pitch gathering cups first and then milked the cow.

We Kicked the cow in the udder first took the milk and then didnt feed the cow

This is all so exciting.

stuff the sponsorship, as with saleh and willam to chelsea, and mata to utd. it proves that when it comes to the big boys we don't have a pot to piss in, even BR is becoming pee'd off, we need owners with money, not small time charlies like FSG.
