Series level, and the AB's long unbeaten record goes. Obviously the red card helped but it was a good fightback from the Lions. Sets up a cracking decider.

Two very honest interviews from the captains at the end.

Sort the discipline out and we have a chance at Eden Park but it'll be very tough.

They'll have to play a lot better overall than they did today, not impossible like, they are certainly capable of a lot better Rugby.

Wasn't a great game but due to the weather it was always going to be a game of attrition than skill.

Personally I think the red was correct but I don't like the new Rugby laws. Yes they are to protect the players but I think they are overly harsh/cautious and has meant far too many games have had red cards in them.  It was a cheap shot but Watson did duck down in anticipation of contact. As soon as you do that imo you should risk head/neck contact. Its just all gone a bit soft & safety conscious (same with the NFL)  For me its elite level professional sport so the skill, intensity & aggression should be at the max levels. Rugby would be 5 a side with the modern rules played 15 years ago.

Probably in a minority on this but I think some of the rule changes have been detrimental to the game. I just hate the way all physical sports have been softened & will continue to be so

Complete and utter bollocks.

Watson has already been tackled, he's been slowed down and started to be brought down by the tackle.

Sonny Bill then comes in with a cheap cunts shot.

Blatant red and absolutely the correct decision.

I am hating the new interpretation of the "advantage" law... A few times the All Blacks had advantage for a pen and then went 4-5 phases downfield making 30-40 metres, kicked the ball which nearly resulted in tries twice that were then pulled back to the original infringement.

Seemed like for 25-30 minutes there was a square up for the sending off.

Vainikolo was gassed and should have been off earlier. Sin bin forced Gatland's hand to keep him off but as soon as the Lions settled down and kept possession the last 10 minutes or so was a lot better.

In saying that about Vainikolo, the Barrett incident where he was tackled after kicking the ball was no different to Farrell being taken out either in the first half. The officials shit themselves after the send off.

Taking Kaino off for a back was a massive decision for the Blacks and I think it cost them in the end.

Next weeks test should be a belter
