Favourite Liverpool strike partnership?

Watching Sturridge and Suarez it's a reminder of some of the great strike duos Liverpool have had. I don't want to say greatest because how could you decide but what about favourite? Some considerations:

Hunt and St John

Keegan and Tosack

Dalglish and Rush

Barnes and Rush

Beardsley and Rush

Rush and Fowler

Fowler and Collymore

Fowler and Owen

Owen and Heskey

Torres and Gerrard

Suarez and Sturridge

They've started well but there's a long way to go.

I don't think we've been especially blessed with strike partnerships in my lifetime, we've always had a great star striker but they've tended to be a one man band. I think Rush and Beardsley would be mine, but honourable mentions for Fowler and Collymore (I didn't rate him as high as many, but on the occasion they were in full flow they were pretty unplayable), I also liked Owen and Riedle, he was a great foil for him, although we didn't see much of it due to Riedle's age.

What about Keegan and Toshack??

They could even read each others minds as was proved on Kick Off

That was a con apparently they could see what each other was holding up through the camera lens they got a few wrong just so it didn't look to obvious very funny though

I think this current strike force is my favourite.

The reason being, not only do both of them look capable of getting 20+ goals in a league season.  I like it how they are both comfortable dropping deep as the supporting striker, playing on the defenders shoulders or in the box as the number 9 or drifting wide.  This gives the opposition defenders numerous problems as they both just pop up all over the place and are willing to run behind them.  They are also both the providers and finishers for each other.

Looking at the list we have been blessed with great strikers and partnerships over the years.
