We conceded three, but their first two finishes were excellent (albeit we gave them too much space) and they only had four shots on target.

I don't ever remember our back four having to be shuffled so much because of injuries in a season. Without making excuses for anybody, it is a mitigating factor in at least some of our mistakes this season.

Centre back may well be the best option for him, we can't play him and Lucas in a three man midfield. It doesn't work.

Johnson is shocking these days and with Flanagan injured, could be just the role to rejuvenate our captain's career.  Probably not, but honestly, I didn't like him between the CBs tonight either, so it couldn't be much worse than that.
