IPTV Stalker add on is great just watched barca in good quality.

Yeah it is great. There is also a TV guide you can use with it. Follow these instructions but on the addon settings choose IPTV Stalker.

Also have a look on Free Streams by Mikey1234, Sparkys Streams on Metal Kettle repo and Vdubt25 for live TV including sport.

I had a Pi2 running as a little web server for a project I had going but I am done with that now and don't need that usage.

So I've wiped it and installed Kodi / XBMC from the latest Noobs distro.

I tried it on my old Pi but all of the things like Sports Devil gave me match streams as shit as the browser based ones.

What do I do now?

Also is there a way to get it to see PS3 Media Server on my PC?

Edit: Got PS3 Media Server connected now.

If you want a fairly full featured quick set up you can install a custom build from Totalxbmc. You need to sign up on their forums first

http://www.totalxbmc.tv/newsite/

Then install Total installer

https://seo-michael.co.uk/how-to-manually-install-total-installer-for-xbmc-kodi/

Then from there install a custom build. I stuck Silence ROM on a spare SD card on a Pi 2 this weekend and it's good. It is missing FTV and porn though. You can always add them later.

If I had a friend, lets call him escortrs for instance, and said friend wanted to be able to watch football at full screen size and in HD.

What would said friend do in this hypothetical situation to add this to XBMC?

You, er your mate, should have a look at this

Questions:

Do you need a Pi to use all this lark?

What's a powerline adapter?

You don't need a Pi. A Pi 2 is about the best great, cheap option though and is what I use. A Fire TV Stick is cheaper again but Kodi runs a bit better on Linux than Android and you can plug hard drives full of downloaded stuff into a Pi and play them. You can also use something you may already have such as a desktop pc/laptop/tablet/phone.

You don't need to use powerline adapters so don't worry about them too much. It's a way of getting fast wired internet speeds to your device if wifi is an issue and you can't just plug it into your hub.
