His dribbling is really very odd. There was that one season when he scored a great goal against City, wriggling through their defence, and he scored several others like it. Before and certainly after that, he's looked pretty awful when he's tried to dribble with the ball inside the box. Defenders just watch, let him take a couple of touches and then calmly relieve him of possession. Has he just lost confidence? It's not a skill one tends to simply lose, and his speed of foot still looks pretty quick. It's hugely impressive, in a sense, that, when both his threat from breakaways and his close control have declined, he's still scored so many goals, but it does mean he's incredibly wasteful far too many times when he tries to move into the area.

think it was Man City and Watford. Scored absolute identical goals

Found a poem/Haiku generator

I call it 'Mo'

In the goal’s shadow,

Salah’s shots slip past the net,

Dreams of glory fade.

Feet that dance with grace,

A glimpse of victory lost,

Hope wanes with the dusk.

Crowd holds its breath tight,

Each chance a whisper of fate,

Yet still, it eludes.

Who created that site?

The Drowning Man?

Sky Sports have the big yellow banner on their site, saying Al Hilal ready to offer him a contract to replace Neymar. Has something happened, I cant see anything anywhere.

One of the most powerful figures in Saudi sport, Turki Alalshikh, posted a mocked-up picture on Facebook on Wednesday of Salah in an Al Hilal shirt.

Alalshikh is the chair of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority and is close to the Kingdom's de-facto ruler Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Said the other day I wonder if this is what FSG have been waiting for. Give them the excuse why they couldn't get him to sign a new deal. Priced out of keeping him

This is why Salah has been publicly coming out and saying that he wants to stay.

For me this is the last phase in Salah's battle to try and draw the offer he wants out of LFC. The Saudi lot have been pretty respectful when he said he didn't want to go and have only publicly reiterated that since, saying the respect his desire to keep playing in Europe for now. You can help but think he's got them to push these stories.

Maybe he fancies a bit of this.

To be fair, could you blame him? It's fucking mental.

I think he knows he's out of options and the club just don't want him to stay. I've reconciled now that he's gone. I'm just hoping we can get deals with the other two done, but I'm feeling less positive by the day. Vvd seems to have been signing tomorrow for months.

If the Saudi's were being 'respectful' they'd shut the fuck up and any deals would be going on out of the public eye.

Why, any player with less than six months left of his contract can start talks with any club abroad.

This is all on our owners.

They have shut the fuck up and said nothing outside when asked specifically do they want to sign him, that he knows they'd welcome him when he's ready. You have to imagine they wouldn't have had one of their main men post a picture of Mo in one of their teams kits, if Mo didn't want it. They are being respectful to Mo. They don't give 2 fucks about LFC and why would they? Their job is to show their dick is bigger then JWHs.

I'm just glad he still hasn't got a new contract. I mean what value does he add to the team other than scoring the goals, and assisting the ones he doesn't score - in order to win us games?

Transfer window is still open  isn't it? Get rid asap. Pointless player.
