A joke?

He’s obviously better than Mane, who is my favourite Liverpool player of the PL era, but he is less underrated than Mane.

He has become a much more rounded player than Henry who is the most obvious direct comparator, and if he keeps it up, one day he’ll be as good as Shaqiri

This is mad stuff. He’s 20 goals off being the top scoring non-English player of the Sky era.

He has a good shout of getting up behind Aguero this season.

Discount the pace goals and where is he?

Make of this what you will. I will go with he genuinely doesn’t yet know.

Of the three, I think Salah is the most likely to go.

The idea of paying an athletic forward in his 30s makes Edwards sick to his stomach and Mo will have no shortage of options to get a long contract.

The sad thing is if it goes tit's up losing all 3 players Slot will be the one hung out to dry. The back room nerds will skulk around in the background handing out quotes and getting off pieces from friendly journos about how clever they are

I was of a mind that Trent is definitely off, Salah it’s touch and go, VVD would stay.

I now think Trent and Salah are definitely off, VVD is touch and go.

We’ll need to spend that 14p, plus none of the money from sales wisely next summer.

Had a look at Salah’s start of the PL season during his time here, first 10 games he’s been involved in.

The one thing we can take from the numbers is there are no signs of him slowing  down, in fact, only in the 21/22 season have we seen him with more goals and assists than this season with 12 g/a after the 10 first games.

Sort this mans contract out now.

17/18: 5 goals, 2 assists

18/19: 5 goals, 3 assists

19/20: 5 goals, 3 assists

20/21: 9 goals, 2 assists

21/22: 10 goals, 6 assists

22/23: 3 goals, 3 assists

23/24: 8 goals, 4 assists

24/25: 7 goals, 5 assists

Salah’s total very season below.

Sadio Mane was brilliant too, Code. That  fact doesn’t take anything away from Salah’s achievements and legacy.

Mane was a great player, but never better than Salah.

Loads tried to argue he was though, thats why I asked the question as I feel Salah is the actual underrated one, for some strange unknown reason.

Could just be a bargaining ploy, leave it a little vague and open to interpretation. Get the fans more vocal and putting pressure on the club.

Important as it could be the difference between £250K a week for 2 years or £280K. That makes a difference in the grocery and heating bill.

This was my thought, just part of the negotiations, a little reminder pointing out to everyone what he brings, and what they'll miss when he's gone.

I don't doubt that he wants to stay, just a matter of if the club sees the same value as what he sees in himself.

Not a chance he'll make aguero.

I said to get right behind him. 13/14 goals in 28 remaining games to draw level with Lampard or go one ahead. Achievable, I reckon.

It's achievable, but he'll need to stay completely injury free and not let this contract stuff get in the way. I wouldn't be betting it would happen myself. If you asked me to pick that or he leaves in the summer, I think there's far more chance he leaves.
