Good signing. Very happy with him. Goals, assists, pace.

Mind you, he should have let Coutinho shoot against Man Utd as he was facing the goal, rather than turning to hit it himself and sending it past the post. Give us another 10 goals Mo and we'll speak no more of it!

I like the fact that he doesn't even seem to recognize that there is such a thing as not taking the shot when goal beckons.  Makes a change from others (no-names mentioned Hendo) who seem to think NOT taking the shot is the only option.

That kind of single-mindedness reminds me of suarez who likewise denied the existence of "the lost ball".  There was no such thing to him, only shades of difficulty of bringing it under control.

Repped for insightful description of Suarez.

He's boss, his general play drastically improved in past month or so. At first he looked like an out and out goal scorer and an option in behind but he's really added a touch of class in recent performances, sharp turns nice one touch lay offs and intricate interplay as well as being a constant goal threat. What a signing.

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has turned down a luxurious reward for his part in sending Egypt to the 2018 World Cup.

The Reds’ record signing reportedly turned down the offer of a villa as a reward for his country’s qualification.

Instead, he insisted that the Egyptian businessman made a donation to his home village instead.

The 25-year-old politely declined the offer and stated that a donation to Nagrig village in Gharbiya province would make him happier, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Salah became an even bigger national hero when he scored a 94th minute penalty against Congo in the Borg El Arab Stadium to send Egypt to the World Cup in Russia.

The £37million man is Liverpool’s top scorer this season with eight goals in 13 appearances, and he bagged twice as the Reds routed Maribor 7-0 on Tuesday night in the Champions League.
