Seems his tool of an agent has got everyone a deal they're happy with. Salah comes out of it well having said all along he wants to stay. His agent takes the shit. Job done.

Pleased that we've acted like a big club in this case. Can't be having a situation where Mane departs and then Salah goes on a free a year later. You want elite level, world class players to stay at your club? Then pay close to the going rate and be ready to compromise a bit on "wage structure".

 

And for those who have been doom-mongering, thinking this kind of deal would lead us to financial ruin - it won't. Only a handful players in our squad would be eligible to the kind of wages Salah is now on. And the club keeps taking in more revenue each year with new sponsorship deals and the likes.
