Why are people worried? He was missing piss easy chances in every single game for the first few months before he found his rhythm and then he couldn't stop scoring. The same thing is going to happen this season, guaranteed. He's getting into the right positions and is creating chances for himself. That's encouraging, I'm not that worried about Mo.

Mainly the media being hysterical fannies because he doesn't score a hatrick every time he puts on a pair if boots.

Partly because it makes them money, from clicks and sales.

And partly because they want him to fail so they can re-crown the slack jawed mong who plays down south.

eurgh, American dates...

You in the US aventus, or is this another cruel joke from the Usher clan?

I can't find how to change it.

I was perfectly happy living in my little bubble of ignorance of the date format, but now you've brought attention to it I won't be able to sleep until this is put right.

The shoulder is still nagging him no doubt about that. It takes forever to get over. Being 98% instead of 100% gets in your head, no matter how good you are.

That cunt Ramos broke him. Still troubled by the shoulder, he's not as physically forceful as last season. He needs a bit of help from a sports psychologist.

Or a couple of hat tricks would do the trick

Michael Laudrup was commentating on Danish tv. He said not to be worried as he will find his feet again, you can't hold down a class player. He just needs to get into his rhytm again. Talking about the shoulder and maybe him being a bit fatigued. Laudrup also said that he seems to be getting back, as he is finding the positions to score goals slowly again. Think most people that watched yesterday would agree with him on that.

I really just don’t agree with the shoulder thing.  Look at him for the chance when he went around the keeper.  He’s sprinting flat out and shouldn’t really get there.  He muscles Alonso out of the way on that specific side of his body, relaxes, jinks around the keeper with ease and it’s just unfortunate that it pushed him too wide.  He did absolutely everything right in that situation and was just unlucky.  His other wayward shots have got nothing to do with the injury either.  He’s just a bit off.  As I said earlier though he’s not hiding.  It will come.

Thus far, he's creating more chances, doing more dribbles, more tackles/interceptions and even shooting a little more per 90 than he was last season. The only thing he was doing better last year is the finishing which is pretty variable from season to season anyways. He scored Messi/Ronaldo level of goals last year which no one other than those two can do consistently. His goal scoring last year is distorting the perception of what he should be doing.

He should be burying a few more chances than he has but besides that, he's actually been pretty good and there's nothing really to worry about. Maybe he's still feeling his shoulder, no one can really know, but there's no indication of it actually affecting what he's doing. If it was, he'd be less active than last season in most areas, which is actually the opposite of what's happening.
