So we basically have fucked this up. Sorry, but in the current market the asking price for Salah is about right. So either hold your nose and pay it if you're being genuine about backing the manager, of just be honest and say he can't shop at that level, and you're back to looking at young, unproven possibilities. Because pretending every year is just fucking us all off.

Dear Mr Henry,

A season ticket for the Kop for me and my son will cost £850, a sum I simply cannot afford.  However, on a night out, I wanted to seem a bit flash in front of my mates and have said I'm going for main stand tickets instead at £1034.

I have held secret talks with the tickets and they have said they'd be honoured for my arse to sit on them rather than different out of towners paying ridiculous prices through Ticketmaster every week.

In light of this, and taking a leaf from your excellent, if unproductive, transfer policy, I am prepared to offer £434 for the tickets instead.

Just let me know where I can pick them up from.

PS The wife wants a new pair of curtains for the back room so I reserve the right to withdraw this generous offer at any moment and moan to my mates about foreign owners are ruining my Saturday afternoons whilst watching Crewe v Doncaster for £20.

No one's forcing you to pay Sky, you could just get a Kodi stick.

I've had a firestick with Kodi on for a good while, but I also don't want to see our fans(or any fans)get shafted by greedy owners, media moguls et al by passing increases from transfers and wages onto them. I'm a cunt like that you see.

Rumour on Twitter from Egyptian souces is that this is done and will be announced after Egypt play Tunisia 23.00 GMT tonight, not literally of course.

Hopefully tomorrow.

Werent they saying the deal was done 10 days ago though?
