I think some of our fans are just fucking spoilt and have short memories.

Yes it is true his level dropped for a few weeks. But so did the level of almost the whole team. The intensity of abuse some people specifically reserve for Salah in such periods is shameful.

Those people would only truly appreciate him when he is gone.

Lots of players needed to pull their fingers out, not just Salah. It's ridiculous to suggest that today's win is only because of Salah. He was Gary Neville's man of the match but he wasn't mine. Thiago was immense, as was Gini and for what it's worth the team did struggle for about 15 minutes as soon as Shaqiri went off. He is a class player who either has been unlucky with injuries or really had to pull his finger out. He showed today in a different system he can deliver. Klopp changed the system today which did a lot more towards this result than simply Salah scoring goals.

I think their memory/predictive faculties basically span +/- 15 days. Should probably write themselves a reminder-note not to be so fundamentally gormless next time & doubt a player/team who have turned it on quite literally for 80-90% of games over a 150 game period, in the middle of the most extreme fitness crisis visited upon the club in decades.

I'm not sure anyone here is saying Salah was solely responsible for the win today. Just saying people need to dial back on some of the abuse he receives. And for him to be appreciated a bit more.

I agree with you that some other players played very well today. In fact, I would have Milner as my man of the match. Not only for his performance on the pitch but for his reaction after Jones set up Salah's first goal.

That was the most entertaining reaction I've seen (other than Lallana scoring a last minute winner and Klopp losing his glasses in the melee).

The fans have barely sung his name at Anfield  this season.

Do you have stadium sound on or mock crowd noise?

If it's stadium sound, you're right.

If it's mock crowd sound, you're right.
